When washing a Border Collie, it is important to use a gentle dog shampoo that is specifically formulated for their coat type. Start by thoroughly wetting their fur with lukewarm water, then apply the shampoo and lather it gently. Be sure to rinse all the shampoo out completely to prevent skin irritation. After washing, gently towel dry your Border Collie and allow them to air dry or use a blow dryer on a low, cool setting. **
